Comments:  This character style starts out weak, but gains power quite quickly.  The only serious problem with this design though is that without War or Life Specialized it is difficult at higher levels to take out the really nasty monsters on Aerlinthe and in the Obsidian plains.  For someone planning on playing up to the highest levels, I recommend the Drain-Mage -> BattleMage template.
