The Three Towers

Goal:

Get though the three towers and three dungeon sections to get a yucky key worth 4 pulls on a semi-uber chest, and a skull worth 12,000xps.

Step 0: Preparation

  • Magic and Elemental Resistance for everything except the section with the Skeleton Warrior/Captains

  • Slahsing/Piercing Protection for Skeleton Warrior/Captains section.

Step 1: Getting into the dungeon

Ok, getting into the dungeon is the hardest part here, with it being very easy to mess up the spawn and break the quest, which take an hour or so to reset properly, so here is the walk-thru to get in:

  1. Kill the Lich outside.  Do NOT accidentally kill the Lesser Acolyte first (5.) or the quest can break.

  2. Climb the stairs and pull the level up top

  3. Run over to the other tower and kill the 2 Lich's and 3 Undead inside

  4. Run down the hill and kill the 3 undead

  5. Kill the Lesser Acolyte and jump into the portal that is created.

Addition notes:  If any of the tower doors are open, wait for them to close before starting.  This will also help keep the quest running properly.

Step 2: The Dungeon (Hints)
Once inside you will have to figure out your way around 3 separate dungeons (See maps in table below) with monsters ranging from simple Undead, Skeleton Captains, and Lich's.  At the end of each level, there will be another Lesser Acolyte that will spawn a portal to the next level on death.

The final dungeon has mostly all Lich's and a Greater Acolyte at the end, he has the key and skull, and also spawns the final portal to the Chest Room.

UPDATED, 9 MARCH 2001:

There is a 5 hour restriction on getting the key and skull. The key has 4 use's, and there's 4 chest's.  The chests now appear randomly in the room, and have a random spawn type.
