Step 0: Preparation

 Depending on which of the below hides you are seeking (Refer to table at end of quest), preparations will be different.

• Great, White, or Hoary Mattekar - Piercing Protection

• Dire Mattekar - Slashing, Piercing, and Bludgeon Protection (Due to nearby Lugians)

• Dread Mattekar - Fire Protection, Slashing, Piercing, Bludgeoning for nearby Lugians

• ÐM Canescent Mattekar - ??

Step1: Getting the Hide

  Depending on which hide you want, you will need to hunt in the appropriate areas.  Here are a few suggested hunting spots:

• Great Mattekar - Mattekar Caves, located at 65.4n, 16.7e

• White Mattekar - Roaming Bowyer Cabin, 68n, 10w

• Dire Mattekar - Near the Arm, Mind, and Heart Quest Spawn Points

• Dread Mattekar - At the Arm, Mind, and Heart Quest Spawn Points

• ÐM Canescent Mattekar - Northern coast of Marae Lassel

• Hoary Mattekar - Northern and Southern mountain areas of Dereth

• Swarthy Mattekar - Unknown

Step 2: What do do with the Hide

   ÐM For the Canescent Mattekar Pelt, you will also need to get either Organic Acid (Found on Harrower Grievvers), or Olthoi Ichor (Found on Olthoi Legionnaires in the bottom of the Ancient Empyrean Grotto.)  Use the acid/ichor on the pelt, then turn it into Mazur ibn Stouni in Greenspire.  You will received a robe based on the table below.

Hoary & Swarthy Mattekar - Turn in the hide to Yi Yo-Jin, located in Neydisa Castle (69.6n, 17.6e)

  For all but the Canescent and Hoary Mattekar Hide, Turn in the Hide at one of the following Leather Crafter locations to receive the rewards in the table below:
