Halloween Masks and Wands

The Story So Far...

In October of 2000, Masks made from the heads of various monsters were added.  At the end of the month, the monster's no longer dropped them.  Now, in October of 2001, they are back, and with even more choices!

Step 0: Preparation

Kill one of the following monsters until you get a head from it:

  • Banderling Captain

  • Innocent Doll - Drops actual mask, can be turned in for the "Inviso Mask "

  • Drudge ??

  • Mosswart Shaman

  • Shady Scarecrow

  • Chomu Sclavus

  • Skeleton

  • Tusker Slave, Guard, Silver, Rampager

  • Linvak Ursuin

  • Zombie

Step1: Getting the Mask

Go to one of the racial mask makers in the table below, and turn the head in.  You will receive a mask in exchange.

CrafterCoords/TownBuilding
Alexander the Deft17.4n, 63.5e (Eastham)Smithy (Top floor)
Janda Asulifiya7.4n, 4.6e (Al-Jalima)Smithy
Tsua Kagemate28.7s, 59.3e (Sawato)Smithy

If you turn in a doll mask, you will receive an "Inviso Mask" - (Makes you appear to be headless)

Step 2: Converting from Mask to Wand

Now, not all masks can be converted into wands.  It seems that only the heads that you could turn in last year have been granted the option of turning into a wand.  So, if you have a Banderling, Drudge, Mosswart, Skeleton, or Tusker mask, simply turn it into one of the crafters above, and he will then give you a wand for it.  Also, if you turn in a Tusker Mask, you may get a backpack instead of a wand, depending on which Tusker it was you killed (more to come when I get the details...)
