The Story So Far...

   The Olthoi have invaded Asheron's Isle!  Your job - Defeat the Matron and get to Asheron!

Step 0: Preparation

• Acid, Piercing, and Slashing Protections

  • Bludgeoning for Olthoi Swarm Guardians and Swarm Mutilators

Step 1: Getting to Asheron's Isle

  The first step is getting to Asheron's Isle.  Portals have been opened in the following locations:

Step 2: Which Dungeon is Mine?

  Ok, now that you are on the Isle, be aware that there are very few safe spots.  As you head to your dungeon, be very careful, it is quite easy to be running along and hit a patch of Swarm Guardians and Mutilators just waiting for the unwary.  Proceed to one of the below dungeons according to your level:

Step 3: Working your way down

   Ok, here are the directions for the 60+ and 80+ dungeon, as all my characters are above that level.  Hopefully the layout is the same in the other dungeons.  If not, please email me at thespectre@aclore.com and I will update accordingly.

1. Head north down the ramp

2. Turn to the right and follow the passage straight ahead until it forces you right.  Keep following this passage down until you get to an acid room.

3. Run through the acid as quickly as you can, and continue on to the second acid room

4. Run through this one as well, stopping immediately on the other side.

Step 4: The final horde

  After the 2nd acid room you will will be in a hallway that goes down to the right.  At the end of that hallway is something like 50 Warriors, Mutilators and Guardians, plus the Brood Matron.  Standard tactics apply - Warriors in front, archers and mages in back.  Kill the Matron and recover a Brood Matron Carapace off the corpse.  The respawn on the Matron is 5 minutes, the horde respawns roughly every 12 minutes.  I beleive this is a Crest for levels 60-80, and am not sure what it is for the other two dungeons.

Step 5: To visit a Legend

  Once you have taken out the matron, you can head over to Asheron's Castle at 21.3n, 69.1e.  Enter the portal inside the castle to pay Asheron a visit and receive a great book detailing the current crisis.

Step 6: Retrieving your Reward

  Head over to the Olthoi Hunter in Arwic at 30.9n, 56.3e.  Based on the item you turn in you will receive an Asheron's Rainment as shown below:
