Titles of the Adventurer

The Story So Far...

When Asheron's Call first came out, there were basic classifications of characters that you chose during character creation.  99% of all player chose "Adventurer" as none of the default templates really met with their goals.  With the July 2001 patch however, it became possible to get a custom title to match your character's primary attributes.

Step 0: Preparation

You will need a 250+ Skill for the Lower Title, and a 350+ recommended for the Upper Title.  No fighting is required to complete this quest.  You will also need 10,000 pyreals to pay for your title.  There is a 24 hour timer on changing titles, and once you have had a particular title, you can NEVER have it again.

Step1: Getting the Title

Journey to one of the three Bestower Guild locations, in Eastham, Lin, or Q'alabar.  There are located in tents on the outskirts of these towns.

Once you find the tent with the two guild NPCs in it, talk to both of them.  One will be a merchant.  Buy the appropriate skill puzzle piece in the chart below from him.

Another puzzle piece will spawn on the ground.  Pick it up.

Buff up that attribute as high as it will go and use the two pieces on each other.  If you succeed, you will then have a completed puzzle piece.

Turn in the completed puzzle piece to the NPC that was not selling anything, and an area-wide broadcast message will sound:

Hear Ye, Hear ye!  {Insert Name} has proven worthy of the title, {Insert Title Here}!
